Team Minnesota Hockey Tournament

BEANTOWN COLLEGE TOUR REGISTRATION NOW OPEN TO ALL PLAYERS

The Beantown College Tour REGISTRATION process is now in full swing and we still have a few roster spots available for this event.

We are officially opening up registration for this event to any high school player who was born during 1990, 1991 and 1992 (1993's may apply, but they must have at least 1 year of high school hockey experience).  Any player born between 1990 - 1992 may fill out a player registration for consideration to participate in this event.

The Team Minnesota Committee will monitor all applications on a daily basis and notify all applicants of their acceptance status.  This is the same procedure that we used during the successful Minnesota vs. Michigan Hockey Series during May 2007,  This way, we reduce the risk of missing a player who deserve this opportunity and there are a lot of players in that category in the state of Minnesota.

Feel free to register by "clicking" the Beantown College Showcase Registration on the left of this screen.  Once you have successfully registered, a Team Minnesota representative will contact you shortly.

BEANTOWN INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE TOUR

CLARIFICATION OF PROCESS

We have been invited by the East Coach Division I coaches to attend the first year of the Beantown International College Tour. This event is set-up to serve the same purpose as the Model Camp put on by the WCHA coaches.

Team Minnesota has identified a list of pre-qualified players that have participated in our program in the past and will open registration to the first 24 Forwards, 12 Defensemen and 4 Goalies and field two teams (Minnesota Navy and Minnesota Gold) for the event consisting of 1990, 1991, 1992 and some 1993 players.  We will divide each team into equal squads and will bring a maximum of 20 players per team. We are currently sending additional invitations out to 1991 born players and a few 1990 players.  Once our 40 spots are taken, then the roster process will cease.

Essentially it is a first come, first served process for those players listed on our pre-qualified invited player roster.

TOURNAMENT PREMISE

This is not a tournament.  This event was designed by several Division I Colleges/Universities on the East Coast, including University of New Hampshire, Brown, Providence, Boston University, Boston College, Harvard and others.  This showcase is specifically designed to give our highly skilled players the opportunity to showcase their skills directly in front of a multitude of college coaches and have the opportunity to tour each college campus of interest – including meeting with the program coaches and touring each college campus.

Please remember that this event is NOT a tournament – it is a privately designed showcase brought to us directly by the college coaches who desire to increase their exposure/recruiting of Midwestern players, specifically Minnesota. Each day, those teams involved in the event will play a scheduled game a college location (morning) and have the opportunity to tour the particular college and meet with the college coaching staff.
